Attwood Angled Adjustable-Reach Transom Saver – 30–60 in.
Handle the trickiest trailer setups with the Attwood Angled Adjustable-Reach Transom Saver. With an extended reach of 30 to 60 inches and a unique angle adjustment system, this transom saver is engineered for boats and trailers where a straight transom saver simply won’t reach or align correctly — including wide-beam hulls, offset motor mounts, and trailers with non-standard geometry.
The angle adjustment feature moves in 12° increments from 0° to 36°, letting you dial in the exact angle needed to make solid, secure contact with the motor’s lower unit regardless of trailer or hull configuration. A built-in locking feature prevents accidental detachment while underway, and heavy-duty molded rubber pads protect the lower unit finish from scratches.

Parts Desk Insights
This is the transom saver to reach for when a standard straight model won’t work — either because the reach is too short or because the angle between the trailer roller and the motor’s lower unit makes a straight bar impossible to seat properly. The 30–60 in. range covers everything from mid-size to large outboards, and the angle adjustment is genuinely useful on pontoon trailers, wide-V hulls, and any setup where the motor sits at an offset from the trailer centerline. The locking detachment feature is worth noting for anyone who’s had a transom saver walk off the motor at highway speed — a real risk with standard friction-fit designs. If your setup is more straightforward and a standard reach will do, the heavy-duty adjustable 32–44 in. model or the SP4000ADJRB 24–36 in. model are more economical options. For spring-loaded shock absorption in a similar reach range, see the Shock-Eze 31–40 in. model.
