Best used when your existing bunk carpet is worn smooth, cracked, or starting to hold moisture against the hull — all signs it’s time to replace. A 60 ft roll is typically enough to re-carpet a full tandem-axle trailer with material to spare. Staple or glue the carpet to the bunk board with the pile facing up, wrap the edges underneath, and trim flush. For best adhesion, clean and dry the bunk board thoroughly before applying. Black is the most popular colour for marine use as it hides staining and algae over time.
