The zinc finish provides solid corrosion resistance for freshwater and light marine use, and the winch accepts both rope and strap so you can use whatever your trailer setup already has.

If your trailer sees regular saltwater exposure, consider stepping up to the 142226 ZMAX™ 600 finish for better long-term corrosion resistance. If you want everything included out of the box, the 142208 Performance Series adds gear covers and a strap. This winch accepts both rope and strap — no line changes needed when replacing an existing unit. Keep a spare winch strap on hand as straps wear faster than the winch itself.
