When This Part Needs Replacement
Replace the damper plate if the springs are loose or broken, the hub is worn, the plate is cracked, the rivets are loose, or the driveline has excessive rattle, vibration, clunking, or poor engagement feel.
Installation Notes
Inspect the flywheel, transmission input shaft, bellhousing alignment, and mounting hardware during installation. Damper plates should be installed squarely and torqued evenly. Always verify spline engagement and clearance before final assembly.
