This aluminum anode kit is designed specifically for Volvo Penta DPH and DPR dual-prop stern drives used in saltwater and brackish water environments. It provides corrosion protection at the two primary anode positions on the drive, replacing both sacrificial anodes in one convenient kit.
All components are cadmium-free and conform to Mil-Spec A-24779(SH). Aluminum anodes are the correct choice for saltwater and brackish water use, where they outperform zinc in electrochemical activity and provide more effective galvanic protection for the drive.
