The CMT-3854130A is an aluminum gimbal (transom) plate anode designed for Volvo Penta SX and DP-SM sterndrives. Mounted to the gimbal/transom plate assembly, it provides sacrificial corrosion protection—preventing damage to expensive sterndrive and transom components.
