The Mustang Survival MA3032-13 Leg Strap Accessory is designed to help keep compatible inflatable PFDs securely positioned by reducing ride-up while the wearer is in the water. Originally developed for special-operations use, the black webbing strap attaches around the PFD waist belt and passes between the wearer’s legs for a more secure and stable fit.

Intended Use
This accessory is intended for boaters, sailors and other users who want a more secure fit from a compatible Mustang Survival inflatable PFD. It is particularly useful where movement, heavy clothing or time spent in the water could cause the inflated life jacket to move upward around the wearer’s head and shoulders.
Sizing / Fitment Notice
Confirm that the PFD uses accessible 1-inch or 1.5-inch waist-belt webbing before ordering. The strap is compatible with most Mustang Survival inflatable PFDs, but installation may vary by PFD design. It is not the same accessory as the Mustang MACRS1 crotch strap intended for selected foam life jackets.
When This Strap Needs Replacement
- The webbing is cut, frayed, stretched or chemically damaged.
- Any snap, buckle or attachment point is cracked or no longer holds securely.
- The stitching is loose, torn or separating from the webbing.
- The strap can no longer be adjusted for a secure and comfortable fit.
- The accessory has been subjected to excessive loading during a recovery or emergency.
Care / Installation Notes
- Attach the strap around the inflatable PFD’s waist-belt webbing.
- Route the adjustable section between the wearer’s legs without twisting the webbing.
- Adjust it snugly enough to limit PFD ride-up without restricting normal movement.
- Confirm that the strap does not interfere with the inflator, pull handle, oral inflation tube or waist-belt buckle.
- Inspect all webbing, snaps and stitching before each outing.
- Rinse with fresh water after saltwater exposure and allow it to air dry completely.
- Follow the instructions supplied with the accessory and the PFD manufacturer’s fitting guidance.
