Identify the engine you have

Use the complete identification to select the correct generation, diagram and replacement part.

Multi-port injection

MPI fuel modules, injectors and related equipment require the exact serial-specific selection. Earlier throttle-body EFI is a separate fuel system.

Ignition & cooling

Confirm the installed ignition, cooling and exhaust arrangements. Catalyst and other configuration differences must be matched to the actual engine.

Alpha / Bravo packages

The documented range includes distinct Alpha and Bravo packages. Record drive and transom identification separately from the engine.

Carbureted 5.0L/TKS and earlier 5.0 EFI throttle-body engines do not inherit 5.0 MPI parts compatibility.

Send the complete engine-plate details and clear old-part photos. Match the installed fuel and cooling equipment, and include the separate drive or marine-gear plate when asking about those assemblies.
