Mechanic Partner Program Terms (Mobile Mechanics)

These terms govern participation in the Marisol Mobile Mechanic Partner Program (“Program”). By applying to or participating in the Program, you (“Partner”) agree to the terms below.

1) Eligibility and enrollment

  • Partners must be bona fide marine service providers operating in Canada.

  • Marisol may approve or reject applications at its discretion.

  • Marisol may request verification of business operations and service region.

2) Referral tools and attribution

Marisol will provide one or more of the following:

  • A unique referral code (e.g., MECH-XXXX)

  • A tracking link and/or QR code

Attribution occurs when:

  • A customer uses the Partner’s referral code at checkout; and/or

  • A customer completes a purchase through the Partner’s tracking link within the active tracking window.

Marisol’s tracking and order records are the system of record for attribution.

3) Commission

Commission rate: 7%
Commission base: net merchandise sales only (excluding taxes, shipping, duties, gift cards).
Adjustments: commissions are reversed for refunds, cancellations, chargebacks, fraud, and returns.

Marisol may withhold or adjust commission where:

  • An order is flagged for fraud or abuse

  • Attribution is unreliable due to prohibited conduct

  • Program rules are violated

4) Customer discount (referral code benefit)

Customers who use the Partner’s referral code may receive 5% off qualifying orders, subject to:

  • Minimums and caps (as defined by Marisol)

  • Brand/item exclusions where required

  • Non-stacking rules with other promotions

Marisol may modify the customer discount terms at any time with notice.

5) Partner Personal-Use Discount (Option A)

Approved Partners may receive a Partner Personal-Use Discount (currently 5%) for purchases made by the Partner for the Partner’s own use or inventory.

Important:

  • Partner self-purchases are not eligible for referral commissions.

  • Partner personal-use discounts do not stack with referral codes or other promotions.

  • Partner eligibility may require login to an approved customer account.

6) Payouts

  • Payouts are issued monthly, Net-30 after month-end.

  • Minimum payout threshold is $100; balances roll over until the threshold is reached.

  • Partner is responsible for ensuring payout details are accurate and current.

7) Prohibited conduct

Partners may not:

  • Earn commission on self-purchases or otherwise attempt to self-refer

  • Post referral codes to coupon/deal sites or public deal forums without written permission

  • Bid on Marisol brand terms in paid advertising without written permission

  • Misrepresent products, pricing, fitment, warranty, or availability

  • Engage in deceptive or misleading marketing practices

  • Use spam or unlawful messaging practices

Violations may result in commission reversals, withheld payouts, suspension, or termination.

8) Disclosure and marketing compliance

Partners must clearly disclose the commission relationship when promoting Marisol using a code/link.

Partners are responsible for complying with applicable laws and regulations, including consent requirements for promotional email/text messaging and any applicable provincial requirements.

9) Brand guidelines

  • Partner may not alter Marisol trademarks or logos without written permission.

  • Partner may not represent themselves as an employee or agent of Marisol.

10) Term and termination

  • Either party may terminate participation at any time.

  • Upon termination, Marisol will pay eligible, non-disputed commissions accrued prior to termination, subject to return/chargeback adjustments and policy compliance.

  • Marisol may terminate immediately for suspected fraud, abuse, or material breach of these terms.

11) Taxes

Partner is responsible for reporting income and complying with tax obligations. Marisol may issue tax reporting documents as required.

12) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marisol is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from participation in the Program.

13) Changes to the Program

Marisol may update these terms, commission rates, discount structure, exclusions, or payout policies with notice. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
