Use the complete identification to select the correct generation, diagram and replacement part.
Cylinder count & turbo version
2001 is a one-cylinder model, 2002 has two cylinders and 2003 has three. The turbocharged 2003T is a separate variant.
Cooling & model suffix
The documentation distinguishes seawater-cooled and freshwater-cooled configurations and separate B, D and turbo variants. Retain the complete engine label.
Transmission identification
Identify the actual saildrive or reverse gear separately. Do not decode an S suffix universally as a saildrive identification.
A common 2000-series catalogue does not establish fitment across engine sizes, turbo versions or cooling arrangements.
Send the complete engine-plate details and clear old-part photos. Match the installed fuel and cooling equipment, and include the separate drive or marine-gear plate when asking about those assemblies.

The builder archive lists a later 2003S / 120B package after earlier MD11 / 110S configurations.
