Identify the engine you have

Use the complete identification to select the correct generation, diagram and replacement part.

Complete prefix & suffix

AD41, AQAD41, TAMD41 and TMD41 are distinct catalogue identities. Retain A, B, D, P and any additional suffix exactly as shown on the engine plate.

Version-specific equipment

AD41P is a documented six-cylinder direct-injected, turbocharged and aftercooled Aquamatic version. Its equipment must not be assumed for every 41-series engine.

Propulsion & cooling

Match the installed drive or reverse gear separately. Cooling and air-system assemblies require the exact engine version.

An AD41P sterndrive configuration does not establish fitment for a TAMD41 or TMD41 inboard installation.

Send the complete engine-plate details and clear old-part photos. Match the installed fuel and cooling equipment, and include the separate drive or marine-gear plate when asking about those assemblies.

The builder archive lists TAMD41 B HD. A later D3 installation is a separate configuration.
