Use the complete identification to select the correct generation, diagram and replacement part.

Separate engine sizes

D1-13 has two cylinders; D1-20 and D1-30 have three. The engines have different sizes and service requirements.

Version & controls

Match the complete suffix and serial number. Updated control and electrical arrangements require the corresponding version-specific assembly.

Saildrive or shaft

Record the installed saildrive or reverse-gear model, serial number and ratio separately. Cooling and propulsion hardware depend on the actual installation.

D1 and earlier MD2010, MD2020 or MD2030 designations do not establish interchangeable parts.

Send the complete engine-plate details and clear old-part photos. Match the installed fuel and cooling equipment, and include the separate drive or marine-gear plate when asking about those assemblies.
