Four-cylinder engine

KAD32P is a direct-injected four-cylinder engine with mechanical-governor fuel injection. It is separate from the six-cylinder KAD families.

Charging & cooling

The documented engine uses a mechanically driven compressor, turbocharger and aftercooler. Match the actual component and engine identification.

Drive package

Volvo documented both KAD32P / DP and KAD32P / DP-S packages. Identify the installed drive rather than assuming its model from the engine name.

KAD32 and KAD42/43/44/300 do not share a fitment promise. A horsepower badge does not identify the correct catalogue.

Send the complete engine-plate details and clear old-part photos. Match the installed fuel and cooling equipment, and include the separate drive or marine-gear plate when asking about those assemblies.
