Use the complete identification to select the correct generation, diagram and replacement part.

KAD44 & KAD300

These are separate 24-valve generations with model-specific components and ratings. The KAD300 model number is not a horsepower rating.

EDC & charging equipment

The documented engines use EDC together with compressor, turbocharger and aftercooler systems. EDC does not mean that these are common-rail engines.

Aquamatic or inboard

KAD and KAMD packages need their respective drive or reverse-gear identification. Do not infer DP-E, DP-G or a gearbox from the family badge.

Preserve suffixes such as KAD44P-B, KAD44P-C or KAD300-A. A shared family page does not establish cross-generation parts compatibility.

Send the complete engine-plate details and clear old-part photos. Match the installed fuel and cooling equipment, and include the separate drive or marine-gear plate when asking about those assemblies.
