4JH engine parts
Earlier mechanical 4JH / 4JH common rail
Browse parts for Yanmar 4JH four-cylinder marine diesels across earlier mechanical and later common-rail generations. The complete model suffix, engine serial number and marine-gear or saildrive identification are essential before selecting a service part.

Before selecting parts
Identify the engine you have
Use the complete identification to select the correct generation, diagram and replacement part.
Earlier mechanical 4JH
Keep the exact 4JH generation and suffix. Naturally aspirated and turbocharged versions have different fuel, cooling and air-system assemblies; a shared 4JH prefix does not establish fitment.
4JH common rail
4JH45 and 4JH57 are naturally aspirated common-rail models. 4JH80 and 4JH110 are turbocharged and intercooled common-rail models. Earlier mechanical injection parts require a separate model match.
Marine gear & saildrive
Identify the installed marine gear or saildrive from its own plate. Cooling pumps, exhaust fittings and installation equipment need the full engine and propulsion configuration.
Do not carry specifications or parts compatibility between earlier 4JH generations and 4JH45, 4JH57, 4JH80 or 4JH110 simply because the prefix matches.
A full model such as 4JH4E or 4JH80 tells the Parts Desk more than “4JH.” Include the suffix, serial number and a photo of the old part so the correct generation and assembly can be checked.
Documented installations
Boat examples
These examples describe documented engine options or installations. Boats may have been repowered or modified; an example does not establish present-day parts compatibility.
