Best use case: A strong fit for powerboats and sailboats in the 38–50 ft range where the 185TT tunnel diameter is appropriate but the full 5.0 or 6.0kW output isn’t required. The lower weight (approx. 17kg vs. 25–26kg for higher-output variants) can be an advantage in weight-sensitive installations. Suitable for vessels with a well-maintained 12V system that may not support the peak current draw of larger units. A dedicated thruster battery is still recommended. Confirm tunnel diameter compatibility before ordering — tunnel, cabling, and control panel are separate line items.
