Best use case: Well-suited for powerboats and sailboats in the 40–55 ft range that need strong bow thrust without stepping up to the full 6.0kW draw. A good choice when the vessel’s 12V electrical system can support high current loads but a slightly lower output unit is preferred for battery longevity or system balance. As with all high-draw thrusters, a dedicated thruster battery is strongly recommended. Confirm tunnel diameter compatibility with the 185TT spec sheet before ordering. Tunnel, cabling, and control panel are separate line items.
