Lewmar 5-Button Wireless Remote Kit — Windlass & Thruster Control
The Lewmar 5-Button Wireless Remote Kit adds wireless up/down windlass control and thruster operation to any compatible Lewmar or Simpson Lawrence solenoid-switched windlass. It retrofits cleanly to existing installations without rewiring the windlass itself — the receiver connects to the existing solenoid circuit and the floating FOB handles the rest.

- Solenoid-switched windlass required: This kit works with dual-direction solenoid-switched windlasses only. Confirm your windlass uses a solenoid contactor before ordering — direct-switched or mechanical windlasses are not compatible.
- Lewmar and Simpson Lawrence compatible: The kit is designed for Lewmar and Simpson Lawrence windlasses. If you have a different brand, call the parts desk to confirm solenoid wiring compatibility before ordering.
- Thruster receiver included: The kit includes a separate thruster receiver — if you don’t have a thruster, the thruster receiver is simply not used. You don’t need to purchase a windlass-only version.
- Up to 8 FOBs: Additional FOBs can be paired to the same receiver — useful for vessels with multiple crew or watch stations. Call the parts desk for compatible additional FOB part numbers.
- 3-button version also available: If you only need windlass control (no thruster), a 3-button wireless remote kit is also available. Call the parts desk to confirm which kit suits your setup.
