The ACR HemiLight 3 is a compact, water-activated survivor locator light designed for attachment to life jackets and personal flotation devices. Its high-intensity white LED begins flashing automatically when exposed to fresh or salt water and typically operates for more than 20 hours. Rounded edges help protect inflatable life jackets, while the lightweight polycarbonate housing provides durable, waterproof emergency performance.

Intended Use
Designed for installation on inflatable or inherently buoyant life jackets, survival vests and other approved personal flotation equipment. Automatic water activation makes it suitable for recreational, commercial and offshore marine safety applications where rapid survivor identification is important.
Fitment Notice
The HemiLight 3 can be retrofitted to most life jackets with suitable attachment webbing. Install it where the light remains above the water and unobstructed when the life jacket is worn. Confirm that its USCG, MED and SOLAS approvals meet the specific carriage requirements for the vessel and operating jurisdiction.
When This Light Needs Replacement
Replace the light when it reaches the battery expiry date or five-year service-life limit, whichever occurs first. It should also be replaced after emergency activation or if the lens, housing, water contacts, mounting loops or seals show damage, corrosion or deterioration. The internal lithium battery is not replaceable.
Installation and Use Notes
Secure the light to life-jacket webbing up to 2 inches wide and position it so the LED remains clearly visible around the wearer's upper body. Test the manual controls according to the manufacturer's instructions without unnecessarily activating the water sensors. Store the life jacket and light in a dry location within the specified storage-temperature range.
