Martyr CMT-Z06AZ is an aluminum-strap zinc hull anode designed for weld-on hull and structure protection in saltwater service. This semi-streamlined strap-style anode is used to help protect hulls, rudders, trim surfaces, and other bonded underwater metal areas from galvanic corrosion. The anode body is zinc, while this version uses aluminum straps. Zinc material is intended for saltwater use.

When This Part Needs Replacement
Replace when the zinc is significantly wasted, cracked, loose, or no longer maintaining proper protective mass. Hull anodes should be inspected regularly and replaced before they are fully consumed so bonded underwater metals remain protected. Zinc is the correct material choice for saltwater service.
