Ancor Marine Grade™ Tinned Battery Lugs — 5/16" Fastener, #6 AWG, 25-Pack
These heavy-duty battery lugs are built specifically for the marine environment. Constructed from pure copper for maximum current-carrying capacity and tinned to resist corrosion in salt air and bilge conditions, they deliver a reliable, low-resistance connection every time. The closed-barrel end seals out moisture at the cable entry point, protecting the termination from the inside out. Each lug is designed for clean, easy soldering — the tinned surface wets quickly and holds a solid bond without flux-heavy prep work.
Part #242245 fits #6 AWG cable with a 5/16" fastener hole — a common combination for battery cables, bilge pump wiring, windlass leads, and other medium-current DC circuits on board.

If you're terminating at a starter motor or alternator with a larger 3/8" stud, step up to the 242246 (3/8" Fastener). The 25-pack is the best value for a full rewire or when stocking a service shop — for a single repair or one-off termination, the 252245 2-Pack keeps costs down. Always match cable gauge first, then fastener size — using an undersized lug barrel on heavier cable is the most common installation mistake we see.
