Attwood stainless steel bow eyes use twin shanks to resist twisting and include a face plate with plated nuts and washers. Choose the thread size and thread length required for your installation. Each selection supplies one bow-eye assembly.

Dimensions correspond to the A/B/C/D reference diagram.
- 3396-3: A body diameter 5/16 in.; B thread 3/8 in.-16 with 2-7/16 in. thread length; C inside opening 1-1/16 in.; D overall length 4-3/8 in.; face plate 2-1/2 × 9/16 in.
- 3392-3: A body diameter 7/16 in.; B thread 1/2 in.-13 with 3-1/4 in. thread length; C inside opening 1-9/16 in.; D overall length 5-5/8 in.; face plate 2-3/4 × 3/4 in.
Intended Use
For compatible bow-eye installations. Attwood also identifies transom-mounted ski-tow use where the boat structure and installation are suitable.
Fitment & Installation
Match the thread, thread length, mounting-hole spacing, inside opening and plate footprint to your existing installation. Inspect the supporting structure and backing, and follow the boat manufacturer's installation requirements.
Load & Safety Notice
Attwood lists pull strength of 6,000 lb for 3396-3 and 12,000 lb for 3392-3. These figures are not a published working-load limit or a boat-weight rating. Do not use these bow eyes for lifting.
When to Replace
Inspect for bending, damaged threads, corrosion or movement at the mounting points. Replace damaged hardware and address weakened supporting structure before use.
