The Gates 9370 Automotive XL V-Belt is a heavy-duty, single-strand replacement belt engineered for demanding accessory-drive applications. Its precision-formed, notched construction provides controlled pulley contact, flexibility and dependable power transmission while helping reduce slippage and operating noise. The belt measures 12 mm wide with an effective length of 939 mm and an outside circumference of 955 mm.

Application Compatibility
Designed for automotive, marine-engine and equipment accessory-drive systems that specify a Gates 9370 belt or an equivalent belt with matching dimensions and cross-section. Depending on the installation, the belt may drive an alternator, circulating-water pump, raw-water pump or another belt-driven accessory.
Fitment Notice
Do not select a replacement V-belt by approximate length alone. Confirm the original belt number, pulley width, belt cross-section, routing and adjustment range before installation. Marine-engine applications can vary by engine model, accessory package, pulley arrangement and serial-number range.
When This Part Needs Replacement
Replace the belt when it shows cracking, glazing, frayed edges, missing material, oil saturation, excessive stretching or persistent squealing. A belt that rides unusually low in the pulley groove or requires repeated tension adjustment may also be worn.
Installation Notes
Inspect the pulleys for corrosion, damage, contamination and misalignment before fitting the new belt. Install the belt without forcing it over the pulley flanges, then set the tension according to the equipment manufacturer's specifications. Rotate the drive by hand to confirm correct seating and recheck tension after the initial operating period.
