Barnacle Buster Concentrate is a marine-grade descaler formulated to dissolve barnacle deposits, zebra mussel buildup, calcium, lime scale, rust, and other mineral accumulation from seawater-cooled equipment — with minimal dismantling required.
This 1-quart concentrate mixes at a 1:4 ratio (1 part concentrate to 4 parts water), yielding approximately 1.25 gallons of ready-to-use solution. Use Notes
Always dilute before use. Remove zinc anodes before treatment. Use additional caution with aluminum, copper alloys, and systems containing dissimilar metals. Rinse thoroughly after treatment. Follow equipment manufacturer service procedures when flushing engines, heat exchangers, or pumps.
