Add Tab Position Sensing to Classic Hydraulic Trim Tab Systems
The Bennett Autotrim Pro Sensor Kit adds actuator position sensors to classic hydraulic trim tab systems that were not originally equipped with them. Once installed, the sensors allow the Bennett Autotrim Pro Control Unit to display real-time trim tab position via its LED indicators — giving you a clear visual read of exactly where your tabs are at all times.
Without this kit, the Autotrim Pro will still function in automatic and manual control modes, but tab position indication LEDs will not be active. If your existing helm control does not include sensor wires, this kit is the solution.
Compatibility — Do You Need This Kit?
Whether you need this kit depends on your current helm control unit:
- EIC5000 and TPI2000 — already include sensors. This kit is not required.
- ES2000 and LS3000 — do not include sensors. This kit is required for tab position indication.
If you are unsure which helm control you have, check the model number on the control unit at your helm before ordering.
