The BoatMates 31186 Safety Gear Bag provides organized, ventilated storage for required boating safety and emergency equipment. Its spacious main compartment holds up to four adult or child personal flotation devices, while the separate lid compartment keeps smaller emergency items such as flares, a distress flag and an air horn readily accessible. A large front mesh pocket, drainage openings and durable marine-oriented construction help wet gear dry between outings.

Intended Use
Designed to keep life jackets, signalling devices and other required marine safety gear together in one visible, portable location. The bag can be carried aboard recreational boats, tenders and dinghies or secured to the deck using its integrated D-rings.
Fitment Notice
Confirm that the bag’s dimensions and PFD capacity are suitable for the equipment carried aboard your vessel. Large, heavily padded or unusually shaped life jackets may reduce the number that will fit. This product is a storage bag only and does not include PFDs, flares, signalling devices or other safety equipment.
When This Bag Needs Replacement
Replace the bag if the fabric becomes torn, the carrying handles or securing rings loosen, the zippers stop closing reliably or the drainage and ventilation areas become damaged. A bag used for emergency equipment should remain easy to open, carry and identify quickly.
Care and Use Notes
Allow wet PFDs and equipment to drain before extended storage. Rinse salt and dirt from the bag with fresh water, leave the compartments open until fully dry and periodically check that the zippers, handles, D-rings and drainage grommets remain serviceable. Secure the bag where it stays visible and accessible without obstructing vessel movement.
