Bomar P10055 Replacement Hatch Gasket — 9/16" × 10 ft
The correct replacement gasket for Bomar’s cast hatch series. The Bomar P10055 features a wider 9/16" profile — distinct from the 3/8" gasket used on extruded hatches — and is designed to seat properly in the deeper, wider channel of Bomar cast aluminum and cast bronze hatch frames. At 10 feet long, this roll provides enough material for a full perimeter replacement on larger hatches or multiple hatches in a single service.
Cast hatches are typically found on older and higher-end production sailboats and powerboats. Their gaskets are exposed to the same UV, compression, and saltwater cycling that degrades any marine rubber seal over time. A fresh gasket restores the watertight seal and protects the cabin below from water intrusion.

The 9/16" profile is specific to Bomar’s cast hatch line — it will not fit the extruded hatch channel, which uses a narrower 3/8" gasket. Before ordering, confirm your hatch type: cast hatches typically have a heavier, more substantial frame with a rounded or beveled profile, while extruded hatches have a lighter, angular aluminum extrusion.
