Buck Algonquin Bronze Ball Valve — 1"
A full-bore bronze ball valve built for marine seacock and inline shutoff applications. This 1" valve installs directly below a through-hull fitting and gives you a positive, quarter-turn shutoff for raw water intakes, cockpit drains, bilge discharge, and exhaust outlets. Open or closed in a single motion — exactly what you need when a fast shutoff matters.
Cast from naval bronze for long-term corrosion resistance in salt, brackish, and fresh water. Designed to pair with Buck Algonquin bronze through-hulls and pipe/hose adapters for a complete, matched installation.

Best use case: The 1" ball valve is the right seacock for mid-size through-hull assemblies — it covers cockpit drains, bilge discharge, and raw water intakes on most production boats in the 25–45 ft range. It pairs directly with the 1" through-hull and the 1" straight adapter to complete the assembly. Remind customers to exercise their seacocks at least once a season — a seized valve is a safety issue and a common service call. If a customer needs a larger valve for an engine raw water intake or exhaust application, step them up to the 1-1/4" ball valve. Bronze is the only correct material for below-waterline seacocks — plastic and brass are not appropriate substitutes.
