The Champion RV8C is a non-resistor marine spark plug designed for Volvo Penta and other marine inboard engines that specifically require a non-resistor plug. Part number 121, the C-suffix design uses a copper core electrode for reliable heat transfer and consistent spark — without a built-in resistor, making it the correct choice for older ignition systems that are not compatible with resistor-type plugs.
Sold in a 4-pack. Always verify fitment against your engine's owner's manual or Champion application guide before ordering — using a resistor plug in a non-resistor application (or vice versa) can cause ignition issues on some older marine inboard systems.

Older Volvo Penta and marine inboard ignition systems sometimes require non-resistor plugs because the ignition module itself handles interference suppression.
