When you need to be seen in an emergency, the Comet COM-1774 twin star signal flare delivers two brilliant red stars to the sky in a single shot. Designed for use with any compatible 12-gauge marine flare launcher, it provides a high-visibility aerial distress signal that meets Transport Canada requirements for pleasure craft safety equipment.
Compact and self-contained, each cartridge is a single-use aerial signal that fires two red stars simultaneously to approximately 60 metres altitude, burning at around 10,000 candela for 5 to 5.5 seconds — bright enough to be seen at distance in daylight or darkness.
