The Davis Lube II 425 is a steering rod sealer and lubricator that keeps water and dirt out of the steering rod connection at the engine while retaining lubrication inside. Compatible with both mechanical (cable) and hydraulic steering systems, the Lube II installs at the engine steering arm connection and includes a stainless steel lubricating nut with an integrated oil seal and a grease (zerk) fitting for ongoing lubrication without disassembly.
The zerk fitting allows grease to be injected directly into the sealed assembly with a standard grease gun, making periodic re-lubrication straightforward without removing the unit.
