This 7-piece pack of Vertex 22–18 AWG butt connectors provides a reliable crimp splice for joining two lengths of wire in marine electrical systems. The red-coded connectors are sized for 22–18 AWG wire, the most common gauge range for instrument wiring, lighting circuits, and accessory feeds on boats.
Butt connectors provide a fast, secure inline splice without soldering. These are standard (non-heat-shrink) connectors intended for use in protected locations or where a separate layer of heat shrink tubing or self-amalgamating tape will be applied over the finished crimp.
