This complete disc brake kit from Dexter is engineered for single-axle trailers rated between 3,500 and 4,200 lbs. The K71-2R-10-DDD covers both wheels of one axle — two 10" disc brake assemblies matched to Dexter’s OEM specifications — so you get consistent, reliable stopping performance across the full axle in a single kit.
Disc brakes offer a meaningful advantage over drum brakes in wet conditions: they self-clear water faster and resist the brake fade that can occur when drum brakes are submerged and then immediately applied.
