OEM Hydraulic Cylinder Seal Kit for Dometic Front Mount Steering Cylinders
The Dometic HS5167 is the OEM replacement seal kit for Dometic (SeaStar) front mount hydraulic steering cylinders. When a hydraulic steering cylinder begins weeping fluid — typically visible as an oily film on the cylinder body or a gradual loss of steering firmness — the internal seals are the first place to look. This kit replaces those seals and restores the cylinder to full hydraulic integrity without requiring a complete cylinder replacement.
At a fraction of the cost of a new cylinder, a seal kit is the correct first repair step when the cylinder body and ram are in good condition and only the seals have failed.
Compatibility
Fits all Dometic front mount hydraulic steering cylinder models, with one exception:
- Not compatible with the HC5340 cylinder
If you have an HC5340, a different seal kit is required — confirm your cylinder model number before ordering.
