Pairing 150 feet of 5/8" 8-plait nylon line with a full 50 feet of 5/16" Grade 43 galvanized chain, this is the heaviest-configured 5/8" anchor rode in the lineup — built for larger vessels anchoring in demanding conditions where catenary weight and chain abrasion resistance matter most.
The 5/8" x 150 ft 8-plait twill-twisted nylon line is hand-spliced to a 5/16" x 50 ft Grade 43 high-test ISO-calibrated hot-dip galvanized windlass chain. A Type IV Grade A hot-dip galvanized anchor shackle is pre-installed at the chain end, and reinforced PVC depth markers are pre-installed on the line for at-a-glance scope management.
