The Stewart Warner 82113 Deluxe Marine Oil Pressure Gauge is an analog electrical gauge designed for monitoring engine oil pressure on compatible 12V marine dashboards and instrument panels. It matches the Stewart Warner Deluxe Marine instrument family, including the 82111 fuel gauge, 82112 voltmeter, and 82114 water temperature gauge, giving the helm a consistent black-face, white-pointer, chrome-bezel appearance.

This gauge fits a standard 2-1/16 in. / 52 mm dash opening and displays oil pressure across a 0–80 PSI short-sweep range.

Key Features

  • Stewart Warner Deluxe Marine oil pressure gauge.
  • Part number: 82113.
  • Gauge type: electrical oil pressure gauge.
  • Pressure range: 0–80 PSI.
  • Gauge diameter: 2-1/16 in. / 52 mm.
  • Short-sweep analog display.
  • Signal range reference: 240 ohms at 0 PSI to 33.5 ohms at 80 PSI.
  • Black dial face with white lettering and white pointer.
  • Low-profile polished chrome bezel.
  • Designed for 12V DC marine instrument systems.
  • Integrated 12V backlighting for low-light helm visibility.
  • Marine-grade construction with corrosion-resistant brass housing, bracket, and rear hardware.
  • Front-sealed marine-style gauge construction.
  • Compatible sender references: Stewart Warner 279A or 82892, sold separately.

Engine Compatibility

Common application context includes marine engine instrument panels where a 2-1/16 in. 12V electrical oil pressure gauge with a compatible Stewart Warner sender is required, including:

  • Gasoline inboard engines.
  • Diesel inboard engines.
  • Sterndrive engine packages.
  • Commercial vessel helm panels.
  • Pleasure boat and cruiser dashboards.
  • Custom marine instrument clusters.
  • Matching Stewart Warner Deluxe Marine gauge panel layouts.

Use this gauge only where the sender range, system voltage, dash opening, oil-pressure range, wiring layout, and sender thread installation match the engine.

Fitment Notice

Confirm compatibility by dash cutout size, system voltage, sender part number, sender thread size, engine oil-pressure port, wiring terminals, lighting circuit, and available panel depth before ordering. This gauge requires a compatible electrical oil pressure sender and should not be paired with a mismatched sender resistance range.

The oil pressure sender is sold separately. If the engine block or oil gallery port uses a different thread size than the sender, the correct brass adapter may be required.

When This Part Needs Replacement

Replace the oil pressure gauge if the needle sticks, reads incorrectly with a known-good sender, has failed illumination, corroded terminals, a cracked lens, water intrusion, damaged bezel, or intermittent readings caused by internal gauge failure. Before replacing the gauge, inspect the oil pressure sender, sender ground path, ignition feed, gauge ground, and signal wire.

If the gauge shows low oil pressure, verify actual engine oil pressure with a mechanical test gauge before assuming the dash gauge has failed.

Installation Notes

Disconnect battery power before working behind the instrument panel. Mount the gauge in the correct 2-1/16 in. opening and secure it with the supplied bracket and hardware. Connect the ignition-positive, ground, sender signal, and lighting circuits according to the Stewart Warner wiring instructions.

Install the sender in the correct engine oil-pressure port using the proper adapter if required. Avoid over-tightening the sender or fittings, and do not use excessive thread sealant that could block the pressure passage or interfere with grounding where the sender body requires ground continuity. After installation, start the engine and verify the reading against expected oil pressure for that engine.

Parts Desk Insight

The sender is the key fitment detail on this gauge. A Stewart Warner electrical oil pressure gauge must be matched to the correct sender resistance and pressure range, and the sender must be installed where it can read true engine oil pressure. For troubleshooting, always verify oil pressure mechanically before replacing parts, especially on diesel or high-hour marine engines.
