This is a sender installation accessory, not a sender unit. You will need a compatible Faria Beede sending unit separately if you are replacing the sender at the same time.

Fitment Notice

Confirm the following before ordering:

If your engine port is 1/4" or 3/8" NPTF, you need Faria Beede 90601 instead — that kit covers the smaller port sizes.

The 90602 kit adapts 1/8" NPTF senders to 1/2" and 5/8" NPTF ports. The 90601 kit adapts 1/8" NPTF senders to 1/4" and 3/8" NPTF ports. Choose based on the thread size of your engine port, not the sender.

Can I use thread tape instead of thread sealant?
Check the sender manufacturer’s recommendation first. If the sender uses its metal body as a ground path, PTFE tape or insulating sealant on the threads can break the ground circuit and cause erratic or no gauge reading.

Is this kit compatible with NPT as well as NPTF?
NPTF (Dryseal) and NPT threads share the same pitch and taper and will engage. For pressure applications, Faria Beede specifies NPTF. Consult the sender installation instructions for the specific port type.
