The Flow-Rite V3 is a 3-position automatic livewell valve built for anglers who want hands-free livewell management. A single standard aerator pump mounts directly to the valve body, handling both filling and recirculation automatically — no second pump, no constant adjustments, no guesswork.
Designed with a rear cable approach, the V3 is the ideal choice for bass boats, flats boats, and other low-profile fishing vessels where clean, low-maintenance livewell systems are a must.
How It Works
- AUTO: The go-to mode for active fishing. When the boat is off plane, the valve recirculates and aerates livewell water while blending in a continuous supply of fresh water. Spent water exits through the overflow, preventing ammonia buildup and keeping your catch healthy. When the boat gets on plane, the built-in check flapper closes automatically to prevent water loss — and replenishes when you slow back down. All of this happens without any input from you.
- RECIRC: Closes off outside water completely. Use this when adding ice or livewell treatments, passing through locks, traveling to a weigh-in, dockside refueling, or any time you don't want fresh water mixing in.
- EMPTY: Turn off the pump and move to EMPTY for fast gravity draining — no tools, no mess.
