One Pump Does It All – Fill, Recirculate & Drain from a Single Valve
The Flow-Rite V4 is the most capable valve in the Flow-Rite livewell system lineup. It lets you mount a single standard aerator pump directly to the valve body to handle both filling and recirculation duties — eliminating the need for two separate pumps and the extra plumbing that comes with them. This rear cable approach version routes the control cable from the back of the valve, suiting installations where the cable needs to exit toward the rear of the valve housing.
The V4 gives you three operating modes controlled from a single cable-operated selector:
- Fill: closes the drain side of the valve so the pump draws fresh water from outside the boat directly into the livewell
- Recirc: closes the drain and recirculates existing livewell water through the pump, keeping fish oxygenated without drawing new water
- Empty: opens the drain for gravity draining with the pump off
An optional secondary pump can be added for backup or pump-out capability. The V4 is also compatible with the System 3 Fill/Empty/Recirc Actuator for fully automatic livewell management.
