Furuno 1835 — 4kW Radar Dome Scanner Unit
The RSB0071-057A is the 4kW radar dome scanner unit for the Furuno 1835 radar system — a step up from the 1815 series, offering advanced radar processing and improved target discrimination in a compact 24-inch radome. Like all Furuno radomes, it houses both the transmitter and antenna in a single weatherproof dome, simplifying installation and reducing the number of components to mount and cable.
With 4kW of transmit power, it delivers strong, reliable radar returns on vessels, coastlines, and hazards at range — in rain, fog, and low-visibility conditions where visual navigation is limited. It pairs with the Furuno 1835 display unit to complete the radar system.
Note: This is the scanner/dome unit only. The Furuno 1835 display unit is required and sold separately.
