The GMR CHIRP 2104 is a 4-foot open-array antenna for Garmin’s solid-state CHIRP radar system, bringing the performance advantages of CHIRP technology to mid-size vessels where a 6-foot array isn’t practical. Solid-state CHIRP radar transmits a continuous, frequency-modulated signal rather than high-power pulses — delivering superior target separation at close range, instant-on operation with no warm-up time, and a longer service life with no magnetron tube to replace.
The 4-foot array provides strong target resolution and range performance in a more compact, lower-profile package with reduced wind load — making it the right fit for sportfishers, mid-size cruisers, and coastal boats where a 6-foot array would be oversized or create too much load on the radar arch. It integrates with compatible Garmin GPSMAP chartplotters via the Garmin Marine Network.
