The GPS 18x OEM is a compact, high-sensitivity GPS sensor designed for integration into marine navigation systems, autopilots, AIS units, and other electronics that require a reliable external position source. Unlike consumer GPS antennas tied to a specific ecosystem, the GPS 18x OEM outputs standard NMEA 0183 and RS-232 data — making it compatible with a wide range of chartplotters, autopilots, VHF radios, and third-party navigation equipment regardless of brand.
With a 5 Hz position update rate and a 1PPS (pulse-per-second) timing output, it provides accurate, low-latency position data suitable for demanding navigation and timing applications. The IPX7 waterproof rating allows mounting in exposed locations, and the wide input voltage range accommodates both 12V and 24V marine electrical systems.
