The GPS 19x HVS is a compact, high-sensitivity external GPS antenna that delivers fast, accurate position data to Garmin chartplotters, autopilots, VHF radios, and any other NMEA 0183-compatible device onboard. The HVS (High Velocity Start) technology enables rapid satellite acquisition — even in challenging signal environments like marinas with tall masts, bridges, or tree-lined waterways.
With a 10 Hz position update rate, it feeds position data ten times per second — fast enough for responsive autopilot steering and accurate track logging at speed. The wide voltage input (8–40V DC) makes it compatible with both 12V and 24V electrical systems, and the IPX7 waterproof rating means it can be mounted in exposed locations without concern.
The included 15-metre cable provides plenty of reach from a mast or hardtop mount to the helm electronics.
