The GPSMAP 8412 is a 12-inch full HD touchscreen chartplotter from Garmin’s premium 8400 series, delivering the glass helm integration, Garmin Marine Network connectivity, and large-format display quality of the 8400 lineup in a compact 12-inch form factor — without built-in sonar. Preloaded with BlueChart g3 and LakeVü g3 charts, it is designed for vessels where a separate sounder is already installed or sonar is not required at that helm station.

The 12-inch form factor fits helm spaces where a 16-inch display would be too large.
Installation Notes: Flush-mount or bracket-mount installation. Requires 12V DC power. Garmin Marine Network cable required for radar and network device connections (sold separately). No transducer port — sonar not supported on this model.

Electronics are strictly inspected. No returns on open-box electronics. Exceptions may apply only with prior written approval. Any electronic unit that has been installed, powered, activated, or altered may not be eligible for return.
