It delivers identical sonar and network capability to the 8416xsv in a 12-inch format that fits more helm layouts. Particularly well-suited as the primary display on centre console and walkaround fishing boats where both navigation and sonar performance are priorities. In a glass helm build, the 8412xsv pairs naturally with the 8416xsv — using the 12-inch unit as a dedicated sonar display and the 16-inch as the primary navigation screen.
Installation Notes: Flush-mount or bracket-mount installation. Requires 12V DC power. Garmin Marine Network cable required for radar and network device connections (sold separately). Sonar transducer sold separately — confirm transducer connector type (4-pin or 8-pin) and compatibility before ordering.
