Garmin GSD 24 — Advanced Black-Box Sonar Module
The GSD 24 is a black-box sonar module that adds or upgrades sonar capability on compatible Garmin GPSMAP chartplotters without replacing the display. It connects via the Garmin Marine Network (Ethernet) and processes sonar returns remotely — keeping the sonar electronics away from the helm and allowing a cleaner, more capable sonar setup than an integrated unit can provide.
It supports traditional 50/200 kHz sonar as well as CHIRP transducers, and handles transducer power up to 1 kW — delivering the depth penetration and target separation needed for serious offshore fishing and deep-water bottom reading. The sonar picture displays directly on your connected Garmin chartplotter, integrated with chart and GPS data.
Note: A compatible transducer and Garmin GPSMAP chartplotter are required and sold separately.
