Best Use Case: This extension is most useful on larger boats where the transducer is mounted far from the helm, or in installations where routing the cable through the hull requires more length than the transducer's stock cable provides. It's also handy when relocating a display unit to a different position on the dash. If you're working with a 12-pin sonar port instead, you may also need the Garmin Transducer Adapter Cable with XID (8-Pin to 12-Pin) in addition to this extension.
Compatibility Note: Designed for Garmin 8-pin transducers. Confirm your transducer's connector type before ordering. Not compatible with 4-pin or 12-pin transducer cables.
