AIS target data is displayed directly on a connected Garmin chartplotter via NMEA 2000, giving you vessel identification, speed, course, and collision risk information overlaid on your chart — without a separate AIS receiver. The built-in GPS ensures your DSC distress calls include accurate position data even if your chartplotter is offline.
