Groco ARG-1 Strainer Service Kit — Fits ARG-500, ARG-750 & ARG-755
Keep your Groco ARG raw-water strainer sealing properly with this genuine replacement service kit. The ARG-1 contains every seal and gasket that wears during normal strainer use, so you can restore a leaking or weeping strainer to factory condition without sourcing individual parts.
Routine O-ring replacement is the most effective way to prevent raw-water leaks at the strainer — a small job that protects your bilge, your engine room, and your peace of mind on the water.

Best use case: Order this kit whenever you pull the strainer basket for seasonal cleaning or notice weeping at the cap or sight glass — O-rings harden and shrink over time in raw-water service and should be replaced at least annually. This kit covers the smaller ARG strainers (1/2" and 3/4" hose). If you have a larger strainer — ARG-1000, ARG-1210, or ARG-1250 — you need the GROCO ARG-2 Service Kit instead. For pre-August 2001 ARG strainers, the drain wingnut and O-ring are available separately as the ARG-506 Drain Wingnut & O-Ring.
