The GROCO ARG-2 Strainer Service Kit contains all the sealing components needed to restore a leak-free, like-new condition to your ARG-1000, ARG-1210, or ARG-1250 raw-water strainer. Keeping a service kit on board ensures you can address worn or degraded seals quickly during routine maintenance or at the first sign of a weep at the cap or sight glass.
Best Use Case: Designed for scheduled maintenance or seal replacement on GROCO ARG-1000, ARG-1210, and ARG-1250 series raw-water strainers. Replace all seals as a set during each service interval rather than individually — this ensures uniform seal condition and reduces the risk of a secondary leak after reassembly. Recommended as part of any annual engine room service.
